Final poster for our film

Feedback for poster on Facebook and Instagram

From the feedback made we feel that we might have to consider the font of the text and its positioning to ensure that it is as successful as possible.

This is our final draft for our poster. We as a group prefer this to our other draft as it looks more professional, capturing the theme of the film that we have produced. However, we will ask for feedback and alter anything if needed to ensure our audience understand the concept that is being presented.

The colour theme presented within this poster, is reflected within our film. We thought it best to grab our audiences attention by using our child actor (Bella), within the poster, as this will create an emotive reaction of some sought, making our audience engage with the poster for longer, as well as making them question what the poster is about, due to the obscure positioning that we have placed our characters. We thought that the best possible way to create a connection with the audience and our poster was to make our child actor have the eye-line match, so she is directly looking at our audience, enticing them to engage, whilst the glazed eyes and dazed facial expression of our main protagonist provokes questions. The angles used within this poster also co-ordinates with the shots and angles used within the film.

The title used was decided due to our feedback that we received previously regarding our possible titles for our film on Facebook and Twitter, however, the slogan underneeth is new, and is very fitting to the title that was chosen by our audience. We decided to use a slogan so that they can associate it with the film that they watch, making them question the film in relation to the title, and an be used as a base line to guide our audience through the more complex narrative of our film.

We did this on Adobe Photoshop and decided that we wanted to use footage from the film as it would link better than doing a separate photo shoot for the poster. To get the poster how we did, we manipulated the image in the following ways:

>Rotated the images
>Made the contrast higher
>Darkened the photo
>Merged two images together
